Devon Lang Wilton's "Three films about living"

Screening

December 22, 2017. 7pm for 8pm screening.

Made throughout the year, this (holy) trinity of short films were written to be viewed together, to talk to each other, to live together. The three films are not only connected through the artist (as writer/director/editor) but through their characters’ wounds; wounds from isolation, purgatory and death. And so, like a cat who licks, these are presented for hope, for convalescence, for living…

Iris: Living
Isolated, a woman lives in Van Gogh’s Irises. She enters the world, and it’s beautiful, for a little while.

Sisyphus: Living
A man lives in purgatory with a flower. Sisyphus plays he loves me, he loves me not, but it’s not a game anymore.

Me, Living
A woman lives. After her father’s death.

Running time in total 9 minutes.
